Configuration help, screen shots and advice for setting up SIP clients for the optimised usage of blueSIP.

  • Ninja Basic (Windows)  
  • X-Lite / X-Pro from CounterPath (formerly X-Ten) Windows / Mac
  • Siemens Gigaset C475IP
  • kphone (Linux / Unix)
  • SIPTRONIC ST-100
  • Grandstream GXP-2000
  • Grandstream (BudgeTone / HandyTone)

  • Ninja Basic (Windows)

    1)Open the Ninja-Settings setup by right clicking the phone.
    2)

    Please fill in all forms in the field Proxy as shown in the screen shot below.

    3)Feel free to choose any name you like for the field Proxy Name, which is shown on the left as SIP Proxies.
    4) 

    A red dot indicates, that your registration failed, while a green dot will be shown if you've registered correctly.

    5) In the next step, please choose Advanced.
    6)

    Please choose Yes, if you're in a NAT network.

    7)

    Please navigate on the left side to Global settings and choose Network settings.

    8)If your router/gateway is SIP aware, no STUN-Server must be choosen.

     9)If your router/gateway isn't SIP aware, please fill in the proper STUN-Server.

    10)Close the configuration window by clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner.
    11)Exit the program and start it new.
      Notice: be ensured to close the program with a right mouse click in the Windows taskbar.

     

     

    X-Lite / X-Pro from CounterPath (formerly X-Ten) for Windows / Mac
    Version 3.x

     

     1)Click in the top menu bar on the configuration button (the left one).
     2)Now, please choose first SIP Account Settings, then Properties.
     3)In this mask, please fill in your configuration data:
    X-Lite Ver. 3.x - Properties
     
     4) Please choose Topology.
     5) Mark as shown and quit with OK:

     6)Be asure that Enabled checkbox is activated.

     X-Lite Ver. 3.x - Properties

    X-Lite / X-Pro from CounterPath (formerly X-Ten Lite) Windows / Mac
    Version 2.x

     

     1)Click on the button Configuration (located to the right of CLEAR).
     2)Then select System Settings - Network...
     3)In this window, enter under Primary STUN Server, 'stun.bluesip.net':
     
    X-Lite Ver. 2.x - Menu Network
     
     4) Click BACK and then SIP Proxy.
     5) Click on the first (1.) entry, [Default].
     6) In this window enter the information from your registration confirmation as follows:

     7)Close the configuration window by clicking on the X in the upper right hand corner.
     8)Exit the program and start it new.
     8a) Notice: In Windows you must close x-ten with a right mouse click in the Taskbar.


    X-kphone (Linux / Unix)

     

     1) Select Preferences - SIP Preferences from the menu bar
     2) Click on Socket.
     3) In this window, select Yes for Use STUN Server and enter the address for the STUN Server as follows:

     4)

    Click on OK to close the window.

     5) Select File - Identity... in the menu bar.
     6) In this window enter the information from your registration confirmation as follows:
     
    X-kphone - Menu Socket
     
     7)Click on the button Register and then OK.


    Siemens Gigaset C475IP

     

     1) Siemens' C475IP telephone will be configured using a web browser.
     2)

    On the configuration page,

    [Settings - Telephony - Connections - Edit]

    enter the settings as follows:

    SIPTRONIC ST-100

     

     1) Telephones from Siptronic are configured using a web browser.
     2)

    Siptronic products can automatically read your IP settings using DHCP.

     3)

    To get your actual IP setting, click the Local IP button on the ST-100. The IP number appears in the display and is announced, in addition.

     4)

    Enter this IP number via the browser interface. The default password is 1234.

     5)On the configuration page, enter the settings as follows:

    Click Save/Reboot to save your settings.



    Grandstream GXP-2000

     

     1)Telephone and ATAs from Grandstream are configured using a web browser.
     2)Grandstream products can automatically read your IP settings using DHCP.
     3)

    To get your actual IP setting, click the Menu button on the GXP-2000 (round button), then the [arrow] button pointing down and then Menu again. The IP number appears in the display.

    To leave the menue, pick up the headset and hang it up.

     4)Enter this IP number via the browser interface. The default password is admin.
     5)On the configuration page, enter the settings as follows:

     6)

    Click Update to save your settings. To activate your settings, either reopen the configuration window and click Reboot or disconnect GXP-2000 from its power source (restart).

    ATTENTION - IMPORTANT NOTICE
    In case of any 'inactivity' or when the display is fully illumintated after switching off or rebooting GXP-2000, an automated firmware upgrade process is started in the background. This may take several minutes - please DO NOT POWER DOWN the GXP-2000 during this!



    Grandstream (BudgeTone / HandyTone)

     

     1)Telephone and ATAs from Grandstream are configured using a web browser.
     2)

    Grandstream products can automatically read your IP settings using DHCP.

     3)

    To get your actual IP setting, click the Menu button on BudgeTone, then the [arrow] button pointing down and then Menu again. The IP number appears in the display.

    With HandyTone, pick up the receiver from the connected telephone and click the button on HandyTone. Now enter the numbers '0' and '2' and the IP number is read aloud.

     4)

    Enter this IP number via the browser interface. The default password is admin.

     5)On the configuration page, enter the settings as follows:

    Click Update to save your settings. To activate your settings, either reopen the configuration window and click Reboot or disconnect BudgeTone/HandyTone from its power source.
