Intertex SIP Router

Intertex has been developing and marketing communication and security products since 1982. During the 1990’s Intertex was one of Europe’s most successful players in the dial-up modem market. Currently, next generation broadband access products focusing on the SIP standard and person-to-person IP communication are the focus. The products include featured ADSL modems and firewalls prepared for SIP-based IP Telephony, Presence, Instant Messaging and Video Conferencing.

The Intertex Internet Gate is a series of broadband access products for the small office, home office or the advanced home user. The current models are refered to as the IX67 and the IX66 series. The IX67 series consist of stand alone firewall models and the IX66 series have built-in ADSL Modems.

Use Existing Analog Equipment for Both Fixed-line and Internet Telephony

ImageAs a combined ADSL modem and ISDN PBX, FRITZ!Box Fon provides both IP telephony and fixed-line telephony simultaneously. All the familiar features of ISDN PBX systems are integrated in FRITZ!Box Fon. The new Box also provides automatic fall-back to fixed-line calling if no Voice-over-IP connection is available. Furthermore, numbers to be called only over the conventional line, such as emergency or technical service numbers, are maintained in a special list. And an individual call can be routed over the conventional phone line by dialing a special prefix. For landline calls, FRITZ!Box Fon can be connected either to ISDN or to a conventional analog phone line.
