blueSIP Fax - the mobile fax solution

blueSIP's fax solutions offers a great variety in sending and receiving fax messages.

  • Print2fax for sending fax messages
  • Fax2mail for receiving fax messages

Mobility use is one major advantage of blueSIP's fax solution. As long as a blueSIP Premium customer has internet access (e.g. he is able to send and receive e-mails), he can use the blueSIP Fax service.

Actually, blueSIP's Print2Fax is available for 32-bit Windows desktops systems only. Other operating systems (like MacOSX) will follow. Windows Server solutions might be programmed on a project basis.

Fax2mail, for receiving faxes, is independant from any operating systems and can be used from any blueSIP Premium customers.

What's the use of blueSIP Print2Fax?

With blueSIP's Print2Fax, you can send fax messages from any Windows application. As the fax is transported via an e-mail gateway, fax sending is as easy as sending an e-mail - regardless your loaction.

What does one require for blueSIP Print2Fax?

To use blueSIP Print2Fax, you'll require:

  • 32-bit desktop version of Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
  • installed Windows Fax Service
  • blueSIP Premium account (blueSIP Premium contract)
  • Internet connection
  • e-mail account to receive the fax transmission protocols

Which technique is behind blueSIP Print2Fax?

The blueSIP T37 is a Windows Fax Service, capable of sending faxes via email (store-and-forward facsimile) to the blueSIP Fax Gateway. Documents generated by the blueSIP T37 Fax Service as TIFF files, are transported to the targeted fax number. A fax transmission protocoll will be send to the mail address which is configured in the settings of blueSIP's T37 driver menu.

How is blueSIP's Print2Fax installed?

Please note that administrative rights are necessary to install the blueSIP T37 driver. 

Download the blueSIP T37 driver from the blueSIP service portal (login with your blueSIP Premium account is necessary), store it locally on the Windows desktop system and start the installation procedure by double-clicking the *.msi file. Fax messages can be send worldwiede to all destinations and carrier which are listed at blueSIP's tariff table. 

What does blueSIP Fax cost?

blueSIP Fax is a blueSIP service extension, broadens the range of an existing blueSIP Premium contract.

To receive fax messages (Fax2Mail), no additional fees will be charged.

Sending a fax message (Print2Fax) generates additional charges for each page transmitted as well as the connection fees for the destination according to blueSIP's tariff table.

What term has blueSIP Fax?

As blueSIP Fax is an extension to an existing blueSIP Premium account, no special terms are valid.

Which user account shall be used for blueSIP Fax?

To send fax messages (Print2Fax), your standard blueSIP account is recommended.

To receive fax messages (Fax2Mail), an additional blueSIP account, associated to the standard blueSIP account, might be helpful.
