General

The blueSIP T37 driver is a Windows fax driver that enables blueSIP Premium users a flexible, easy to use Windows desktop faxing serivce from any Windows application.

Technical background

The blueSIP T37 is a Windows Fax Service, capable of sending faxes via email (store-and-forward facsimile) to the blueSIP Fax Gateway. Documents generated by the blueSIP T37 Fax Service as TIFF files, are transported to the targeted fax number. A fax transmission protocoll will be send to the mail address which is configured in the settings of blueSIP's T37 driver menu.

System requirements

  • 32-bit version of Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
  • Windows Fax Service installed
  • Internet connectivity
  • blueSIP Premium account (blueSIP Premium contract)

Installation on 32-bit Windows desktop systems

Please note that administrative rights are necessary to install the blueSIP T37 driver. 

Download the blueSIP T37 driver from the blueSIP service portal (login with your blueSIP Premium account is necessary), store it locally on the Windows desktop system and start the installation procedure by double-clicking the *.msi file. More installation details for various Windows desktop versions are given in the specific sections:

  • Windows Vista
  • Windows XP
  • Windows 2000

Installation on 32-bit Windows server systems

Installations on Windows Server Systems (including Exchange) are possible on a projet basis. Please contact the blueSIP support team (support@bluesip.net) to discuss the best solution.
