blueSIP Premium Gateways are looped in an existing telephone system with basic oder primary rate interface and a broadband internet connection. Thus, cost reduced telephone calls via IP using blueSIP Premium service can be placed.

Hybrid solution

blueSIP's Premium Gateway will be configured to work in a hybrid modus. In case of any internet connection disturbance, the calls from the telephone system will be routed to the existing S₀- or S_2M-interface.

Interfaces and IP channels

The gateways are available with different ISDN- (S₀-) or PRI- (S_2M-) interfaces. Up to 30 IP channels are offered by blueSIP.

Internet connection

An internet connection with adequate upload bandwith (data transport to the internet) is mandatory. The IP router has to have a quality of service feature ("QoS") for a priorized transportation of voice packets and it has to be SIP aware.
